Referee Matters

When Spain suffers through the lack of calls from an English referee because he isn’t used to highly technical players, it’s okay.  But when the Germans are subjected to the scrutiny of a Spanish referee, the English press are crying their guts out.

As for the two yellow cards for Klose… FIFA went to all the hotels and informed the players that tackles from behind will be booked.  Only because the Spanish referee follows the FIFA rule and other referees ignore it doesn’t make his calls wrong.
