There was a CLEAR penalty in favor of Spain that the referee didn’t call. Now he’s calling a foul on Spain that isn’t.
We do not like how this referee is behaving. He’s from Argentina and I cannot help but think that he doesn’t want Argentina to meet Spain in the semis.

If the Germany v England and Mexico v Argentina games today doesn’t show you how the referees can affect the outcome of a soccer game, I do not know what will.

Something I heard. The question was, will the Spanish referee that officiated the Germany vs Serbia game be allowed to referee another game? If it was a mistake, yes. However, since Germany has such a huge pull with FIFA, he will not.
Referee Matters
When Spain suffers through the lack of calls from an English referee because he isn’t used to highly technical players, it’s okay. But when the Germans are subjected to the scrutiny of a Spanish referee, the English press are crying their guts out.

The Brit referee needs to realize that this is a World Cup game not a Premiere League game.

OMG! That is one of the worst refereeing that I have seen. This is why only European referees should officiate World Cup games. Refs from piss ant countries should remain home and watch the games in front of a TV. Don’t know who or where the ref is from either.

Go figure. I started watching Legend of the Seeker and just found out that it hasn’t been renewed for season 3.
