Happy New Year
We celebrated nochevieja at Esther’s place. We ate the customary 12 grapes and drank champagne. After, around 2 o’clock we had hot chocolate and ensaimada. I missed Abuelo and his ringing or his bell and his funny outfits. It reminded me of Tatay and his ringing of the rice pot cover.
I hope 2010 will be a good year. I wish everyone a wonderful and prosperous 2010!

Was served by the rudest waitress at Rodeo Grill. But the steaks were yummy.
Today, IKEA and possibly a steak place for lunch, Rodeo.

Esther got me glasses for my saint day. Had lunch with Margarita at Nohemi’s mom’s place. Went to Festival Park for some Campers then to Alcampo at Leroy Merlin for what turned out to be a lot of things. We only wanted stencils. Now, just relaxing and popping in a Spanish movie.

Had a four hour long lunch today. Now, we’re having El Perro Loco for dinner.

Finally made it here. Just had lunch, now a quick nap. Siestas are cool. I need it because tonight is noche buena which means staying up late tonight.

It’s funny to look at the things that people do on their computers in the airport while waiting for their plane. I see a guy playing Scrabble, a few people reponding to e-mail, and a fellow Facebook-er checking out posts. Oh wait, I am on Tumblr:)

A Decade Ago...
Reading my 2000-2001 blog made me realized how much I matured, or how immature I was 10 years ago. I wonder, if I will think the same of myself now in a decade? It was nice to have been able to look back at my thoughts then. I tried and failed to quit smoking in 2000. I managed to quit in 2004… and still haven’t smoked since. Some goals I’ve set then are still unreached. ...

Bust
All of my attempted errands today were busts. I tried to pick up my prescription at D&W but the pharmacy closed at 5 o’clock on Saturdays. Target didn’t have the Christmas themed picture frames and the pictures I copied to the SD card were in the wrong format. I tried to get a haircut but they too were closed. Maybe tomorrow I will be luckier.
