No Helmets for Motorcycle Riders in Michigan
I called State Farm to ask what were the implications with the change in motorcycle helmet law in Michigan. I was told that riders who opt to not wear helmets are required to carry a $20,000 medical insurance. But here’s the catch…
If you ride without a helmet and get into an accident and be injured “catastrophically” then the tax payer pays your the deficit of medical expenses over $20K.

Game of Thrones
I was sick today and stayed in bed most of the day. I found Game of Thrones in On Demand on my cable box. It’s too bad that it is only in season two so I will probably be caught up by the weekend. It’s is both cool and the suck when a story is complicated. It is hard to garner a bigger a new audience on the fly because they need to start from the beginning to understand the storyline. But it is rewarding to actually follow the story… just like Heroes I guess. I wonder if like Heroes the writers for Game of Thrones will also start making things stupid?

Credit Ratings
We need a governing body that oversees the schemes that come out of the likes of S&P and Moody’s and Fitch. If we let the market fix itself, as a U.S. conservative would say then we are running the risk of fucking up the global economy. There is something very fishy with these credit rating companies.
